O kurwa, papież! Of course he's right!

i think a world without art would be a dull place.
Imagination and inspiration give us new ideas and that's what ultimately takes us forward as a species. Many great minds of the past were also artists (da Vinchi comes to mind first but there were a lot of multitalents back then) A beatiful building or a well decorated interior for example are what keeps our mind stimulated and hopefully happy. You might not know it but your brain does. Many things we do on our off-time have a lot to do with art, music, tv, vidya, books, movies. Imagine a city made of gray concrete bloks somewhere in east europle. It's fucking depressing just to look so imagine living there.

Yes, if by "artists" he means people like illustrators, writers, etc. and not the posers who sell striped canvas to museums for millions of dollars.

>> No.6166616

I don't think he's actually correct.
You see, it would seem that because humans are intelligent animals capable of feats and endeavours that require vast amounts of imagination, it is only natural for ART to appear in the world. Music, Dance, Paintings and Drawings, to hear what is to be heard and to see beyond what is to be seen.
That, in a very large sense, is what it means to be human.

He means con artists.
