Why is there a term like "Absolute Zero" if it's impossible?

>> No.6142246

Because it's a limit.

Same reason you can refer to "losing your virginity", despite the fact that it will never happen to you. Just because something is impossible doesn't mean it's not a useful concept to refer to - it's a limit that you can get arbitrarily close to, but never achieve.

Absolute zero = Absolutely no kinetic energy.

It's far from impossible, it's extremely conceivable.
It's just vastly difficult to apply, or engineer.

I've done a lot of theocratic reasoning with absolute zero, as science is getting into it's next stage with quantum-limits meaning it is beginning to breakdown the rational and irrational factors with transcendental ones. I.E. Magic

If you could send impulses of shockwaves to the molecular stuctures in your hand, and control the rate of energy sharing between them, you could with impulses, become immune to temperature, and in-turn be capable of manipulating kinetic energy by willpower.

In simple terms, fireballs could be held in the palm of your hands, or completely encompass the body. It would not only not burn you, but it could keep you cool, warm you slightly, or otherwise any other form of kinetic-related feels.

This is the easiest form of magic that exists; Kinetic-related

In fact, all forms of magic will be related to kinetic energy, or the energy of movement.

ACTCHUALLY temperature's defined in relation to entropy - and as a result, you can have stuff with negative absolute temperature, that is, it resists a gain in entropy, releasing any energy attempted to be put into it in other ways.

Because it needs a name. What do you want to call it? "The temperature that whose name shall not be spoke"
