If gravity travels at the speed of light and light can't escape black holes, how does gravity exit it?

Light just changes position within space at a certain rate expressed as time, it's still traveling at that rate within space effected by gravity, it's just that the warping of space and time outpaces the speed of the light so that moving forward in time brings it closer to the singualirty. Gravity doesn't move within space, it's just an effect on a portion of space that varies in intensity based on distance in space.

Except that gravity is transmitted by gravitons, which travel at light speed. Even without a quantum theory of gravity Einstein's equations show that gravitational changes propagate at the speed of light.

But if the speed of light isn't fast enough to get out of the black hole, how does the mass inside the black hole actually warp the space-time outside of it?

Answering myself here, but I think the answer is that the entropy (and mass) are encoded by the surface area of the black hole. So the mass is effectively all bound at the event horizon, and so space-time is distorted from the event horizon out into regular space in the otherwise expected fashion.

The fun thing then is: if you were inside the black hole, you would think the mass is concentrated in the center. But from the outside it's all distributed over the surface of the event horizon.

Gravity doesn't have self interaction... the coupling constant with the gravitational field, if mediated by graviton, is 0. It is mathematically inconsistent, with our current knowledge, for the coupling constant of the graviton with the gravitational field to not be 0.

In other words, the electron interacts with the electric field, but the gravitation doesn't interact with the gravitational field.
