Seriously getting just a 70 in this course will make me happy. I am spending 5 hours every day on it and my mark is only at 74 percent right now. Any general tips how to study this better? I feel like I am memorizing a lot of the proofs and not really understanding the concepts...

Might be a strange advice, but start over, and make sure you have a solid understanding of what you're doing. Is there anything you're having trouble with in specific?

Get the deep understanidng on how that what you do work. The meaning of it. And practice on examples and solve problems. I had algebra in 1st year of middle school. Isnt hard. Wich puts me in question how old are you ? 15-16 ?
