So /sci/ loves to quibble about energy sources fairly often, what do you guys think about this redox power cube thing? It looks like some pretty advanced materials science was required to produce it, and the company producing them claims they can power entire apartment complexes, strip malls etc. by themselves

> redox power cube thing?
Yeah, batteries are still many times less efficient, than gasoline motors, do you really think this volume can do this amount of power? No. As a matter of fact, in can not.
Also, the only energy source I know ceased to exist 14 billion years ago. Aint no energy sources on *this* planet. <bragging old cowboy pic>

good thing they added all those energy efficient led back lighting to boost its power.

Everyone knows green leds make it more efficient.

What's the purpose to have that one red fucker in the right upper corner then? Fucking scientists always give the most potent things to the military and politicians, what a bummer.

I count 182 sides to this thing. It is very much not a cube.

1930's technology that was in use in gasp... the 1930's. (well, usable.) Energy has gotten expensive enough that 80 year old technology can become a viable marketable source of income.

How can energy ever be of some cost at all? It's all over the place!

what is that? some sort of CPU cooler?

Fuel cells. A Battery. Back up power source for buildings or powering car engines.

The LED lights indicate when a portion of the device is malfunctioning, LED's consume very little power if I'm not mistaken.

Still that's pretty inaccurate, unless there are exactly as much cells as there are leds. Also no sense in that big square light anyhow.

I think big bitten apple logo would also add some jules to "the cube"
