Look at this bitch. For fucking ten cents it will write whatever you want without skipping or bleeding and with a very uniform stroke. It's relatively comfortable and reliable as shit. If you need anything more expensive you're either a lawyer or a wannabe high-class.

I grew up with this pen and for most of my life wasn't even aware that any of those problems exist on pens. Then I come on here or /b/ and see faggots masturbating over their $40,000 fountain pens that scratch and squeak and need constant refilling and not one of them has good enough hand writing to even make a difference.

I need a pen that I can use to draw precision diagrams that has a fine point, doesn't require any pressure to write, and writes smoothly and evenly.
Recommendations? I used to us a fountain pen but that got ink on the sides of my rulers and bled through the paper if I didn't move it quickly enough.

That's actually a terrible idea. A computer isn't nearly as good as a well organized engineering notebook. The only advantage is that it can be searched and easily copied. Every time I've tried to keep notes using software it turned into a disaster.

They're generally associated with 9 year old girls and not all that great to write with, but the Sakura Gelly Roll is the ultimate archival everything-proof pen, if you regularly go spilling acetone all over the place or something.

Use acid free cotton paper and your Dick Butt drawing will last for centuries.

I think there's a mistake in that article. Someone has gotten confused and mixed up the Uni "super ink" (which is pigment-based ink used in their gel and rollerball pens) with the Jetstream (which makes no claims about the ink not being washable, and indeed isn't particularly water resistant).
