Developing a short story, need some info on a situation that will occur in it. As a means of psychological warfare, if someone slowly removed vials of your blood from you while you slept over a long period of time, what kind of health problems would this cause (anemia, etc)?

med/biofag here
It would mostly depend on how much blood was being removed at night. Seeing how blood cells get old and are replaced every few days anyways your body is pretty good at pumping out a constant flow of new blood. If there was alot of blood (more than a vials worth) missing he might experience the effects of anemia. It doesn't take a whole lot to change blood pressure.
I suppose after a long time he would start experiencing side effects of extremely low blood pressure as the body wouldn't be able to keep up. They would experience confusion, easy exhaustion, mood swings, inability to focus, ect... They could die if the assailant doesn't know his shit, and the victim never goes to a doctor.
Assuming the assailant does this ~1 time a week or less, the worst the victim would notice would be syringe marks.
