Given current and projected consumption rates, and given projected discovery rates, we've already entered the age of Petroleum Depletion. there's nothing intrinsic about being a minority that drives one away from conservative ideology.

it's all about media. The Republican party and conservatives rely heavily on right-leaning poor whites for votes. Poor white people vote in notable numbers for them even if it means they get fucked in the ass moreso.

It's all about media. The right wing has targeted the demographic of lower earning whites over other races, that's why more whites tend to vote for them than blacks and hispanics.

The republican party benefits the rich disproportionately. There's nothing evil about that. Wealthy people have interests too and deserve as much of a say as anyone else. But the media strategy of the Republican party has recognized it can't rely on upper class votes elusively to carry it thru elections. The only hope is to market to lower income demographics, and if it can't appeal to them economically, then they do socially; they marginalize minorities, gays, muslims, whoever they can get their hands on, because they need that fodder if they hope to win a single election.

If the nation becomes predominantly nonwhite, then Republicans will have their media target Hispanics. If 100 years from now the US is 80% hispanic you'll have Republicans using media to target whites as the 'enemy' of hispanics, and impressionable underclass latin idiots buying it all the same.

Seems to me that straight honest white Christian males are the officially discriminated against group in the USA. Non-whites are protected classes. Non-Christians are protected classes. Non-heterosexuals are a protected class. Women are a protected class. Even substance abusers are a protected class under the Americans with disabilities act. When everyone else gets special treatment, the few who don't are discriminated against. So yes, the government seems to be trying to get rid of white people. Oddly, I was just reading an old book that mentions that the native American Indians are most probably of Mongolian decent. Their language most closely resembles language from the Sino-Tibetan region. So the Chinese could say they were the first Americans.

But as more and more people want "their rights", it becomes more and more like true anarchy, groups of people doing whatever they want; ie lawless state. Obviously crime will still be frowned upon so it'll be a western type of law. As a nation we are too young, but if you look back at greece, rome and egypt and see how earlier forms of democracy worker, or failed, for them, we can see that OUR democracy is just at its infancy but will get there.

What's worst is the fact that without a national language and also including other languages in schools, and manuals and at government buildings, it costs US more money. Now I speak Spanish, to my mom and my dad, but they speak English fluently and so do I. Hell I speak English better than most of the non-Hispanic people I talk to. Eventually no one will know any language right and no one will know any language wrong...there just won't be a language.

Immigration is nothing new. Has been happening since america started.

ehhh where do you live? I live in New Jersey. While I do agree with you, to a degree, you are forgetting that the balance can tip either way. The idea that we are not pushing for a national language leaves the language of choice up in the air. My high school had a mixture of all races, white, blacks, indians, hispanics, asians, etc., but there was a few ESL classes and they were mostly for spanish speakers, and one for chinese; which was weird because we didn't have that many chinese. In the end the asians learned english right, the indians learned english right and some hispanics learned english right. But the rest of the latinos, the esl ones, CHOSE to speak spanish in class, never really learning english and then never having a good job from it. And yes I can attest to lack in any socio-economic improvement.
