look at the limits
x=2->0
then perturb them
x=3->0
x=1->-1
now seperate them
|x|-2 is a absolute value function (inverted triangle) shifted down 2.
while -2<x<2 it looks like the shifted absolute value function
while outside it's 0
so it kinda looks like a beak imo
