Say you can buy a liter of 80 proof Vodka for $10 or 100 proof Vodka for $15.

Assuming I had perfect control over how much I drank and would stop drinking once my BAC reached 0.10, which bottle would be more cost-effective?

if you want to be technical about it, no, of course it isnt, if you have twice as much volume in your stomach with the same amount of alcohol your body is going to take longer to fully metabolize the larger volume, by the time the last of it enters your bloodstream your liver will already have started to process the first of it and you will be marginally less drunk

but for all practical intents and purposes, as long as you are drinking the same amount of alcohol, in the same type of beverage (ie both are liquor rather than beer, both are shots rather than mixed drinks), with roughly the same amount of non-alcoholic drink consumption for chasers/mixers, yes, you can treat it as a linear function

All depends on the amount of liquid in each. If they're both the same amount, lets make it easy and say 1L, then...
For 10 dollars you're getting 40% alcohol or 400mL of alcohol.
This situation is .025$/mL
For 15 dollars you're getting 50% alcohol or 500mL of alcohol.
This situation is .03$/mL

If they have the same amount of liquid get the $10 one.
