Reported values of a cylindrical tank are shown verbatim in black, the red values will save you some trivial calculations.

This is impossible right? The height has to be a non-real number (phyt. etc.) if the reported diameters are parallel. I'm not just being a sleep deprived retard here right?

What the fuck am I supposed to do now?

This isn't homework, it's a request for a simple trig affirmation grow up.

Yeah, the hypotenuse of a triangle being shorter than the sides isn't physically possible. most likely explanation is that whoever made this skipped a zero, and it should read 920mm instead of 92.

>cylindrical tank

looks conical to me
yes, probably 920mm

Thanks.

Yeah I know, this entire document is a joke, the professor/grad-student that wrote this PoS experiment was intentionally trying to be vague and ended up being retarded, the fucking objectives aren't even clear. But of course, they'll fail us for "not being adequately prepared" if we complain about any of it.

Running an Arc from the top corner would put it at less then 430 mm, ergo it is not 920 mm.

115mm? If I recall correctly. It went 430mm-147.5 = 282.5

430squared - 282.5 squared = 115 squared.

Build a square of 430mm lengths. Then work it. your point P for a half triangle works out to 230mm, which in turn allows you to define the angle at the 147.5 position of the original form. From there, it's just funky boring math stuff.
