Why did evolution decide that of all the vitally important bits on the outside of your body, the one thing that needed the MOST natural protection was your butthole?

Because the butt is a very sensitive organ and if something gets stuck inside it or anything happens to it your screwed, Also because of its positioning and it's role ( your always sitting on it ) it makes it extremely easy for something to happen to it if it weren't for all the protection that it's developed
