Is there any correlation between atoms and solar systems?

both are mostly empty space
both have almost all of their mass in the center
both have bodies orbiting them

To me this seems like too much similarity to be by pure chance.

Are there any articles on the subject?

orbitals != orbits.

Electrons don't orbit the nucleus, despite what you see in pictures. They are more like standing waves than little balls flying around. And of course the parts of an atom are identical - every electron is exactly the same, etc. and interplanetary space isn't "empty," just very low density

But yes, there is a similarity: things of different masses attracting each other.

what?

Yup. They're locations of electromagnetic stability. Also electrons aren't "bodies", they're field fluctuations.

Is there any correlation between the sun and the moon?

both are practically spherical
both look about the same size
both seem to emit light

To me this seems like too much similarity to be by pure chance.
