Wait, so there are people that logically think aliens aren't real and haven't visited us yet?

Do you know how impossible that is?

>think aliens aren't real

I think it's impossible for aliens to NOT be real.

>haven't visited us yet

I definitely do not think they've visited us.

>aliens aren't real
Given the number of planet's in the universe it's hard to believe we're the only planet with life.

>and haven't visited us yet
It takes a really really long time to get anywhere given how spread out things are and the universe's speed limit. It's reasonable to assume we have never been visited by aliens. Even if they were to have a SETI style system our radio waves have only reached a few dozen star systems at this point.

oh sure, if i was a highly developed species capable of intergalactic fight, the first thing i'd do is zip down to a mudball covered in warlike creatures to find one all alone in the middle of no where.
the only possible outcome from there would be zipping past it's corpse burning vehicle crippling it, landing my craft, walking back and forth making beep beep noises, then ramming something up it's ass before zipping back off again.

sounds just like college kids to me, yep.

Why do they need to visit us in person?

Why not send a drone or two inorder to monitor us?

For all we know, the world powers could be characters on a popular TV show. "Those stupid humanoids"

he might be on to something there

wouldn't surprise me in the least if our way of thinking warrants a memetic hazard for any highly developed species.

we are most likely in a quarantined area and be wiped out if we ever figure out how to get out of it
