Is there a more beautifully written undergraduate pure mathematics text? Silverman is like the Shakespeare of mathematics.

so true. but that also goes beyond math , even your post was so poetic written that you seduced me to think its the truth

since we are talking about books. is there a book about beauty and poetic truths. i think Socrates had some philosophy around that at least, and in communist idealism they talked about using artist to seduced people to work hard with their arts, music and artwork. just listen to an old classic Russian song and you know what i mean

i have that book, the appendix, which mostly proves Bezout's theorem, is tedious.
