Recently I've been learning abstract algebra:

Does this happen to anyone else? That you focus on one meaning of a word so much that you forget the other meanings? Or am I just a hopeless autist?

Dude, I totally called one of my math professors mom (she was a woman). AND SHE ANSWERED. We both simultaneously looked at each other for a second and realized what we did. Turns out she has a kid a year younger than me. Totally fucked up. The lesson went on though. She is actually the only woman in the math department. Super hot and smart. Apparently she did some of her work in chaos theory for her PhD
