What are the missing links in Darwinian evolution? Without these missing links is evolution still feasible?

The missing link argument boils down to this.

>1 never becomes 2, where is the transitional period.
>0.5
>1 never becomes 0.5, and 0.5 never becomes 2, now there are twice as many holes.
>0.25, and 0.75
>and so on.

No matter how many transitional periods are provided there will always be holes.
