Need help for formula

trying to figure out what mark i need to get on final exam to pass the class.

Assignments make up 40% of the unit
Exam makes up 60% of the unit

My Assignments Scores
A1 = 60%
A2 = 60%
A3 = 75%
A4 = 85%
Each assignment is worth 10% overall (40%)

To pass i must achieve at least 50% "overall", no other hurdles.

So how do i work this out?

i don't think you deserve to pass... but.

take an average of assignments
(0.6+0.6+0.75+0.85)/4=0.7
take 40% of you assignment grade (0.7) and 60% of your exam grade
add them
(0.4*0.7)+(0.6*x)
find the x that gives you the grade that you want
(0.4*0.7)+(0.6*x)=0.5
x=0.3666...
x=36.666...%

Alright fine I will help you. So you have a 70% average for the assignments. That is 40% of your grade. So that means you have a total of 28 points out of 100. That means you need 22 more points to get a 50.
