Is there a way for a chemistry major to have a job that pays well? Can chem majors work in oil fields or mines like Chem E?

or if you get a masters in chemistry you can probably work in industry somewhere, it wont be quite as well paying as chem e but itll probably be slightly less boring? still boring as fuck though.
