Lets say someone operates a business that does your particular field of science or engineering.

HOWEVER. It is 20 years from now and the past few generations have grown up. This business has been themed after an "evil villain" organization. Bond villains, Venture Brothers villains, have what you want.

It is a themed business. You are being offered your usual wage, with acceptable benefits. However you MUST wear a uniform themed after the organization.

The owner of the business insists that this is all legal work and he is only a fan of the villain theme.

Do you work for him? Would you run such a business yourself?

Well now, I see you are all goody two shoes.

This is a slow board.
Uniforms are already part of "professional" environments. What's your point.

Way to show your prunes.

Not science. Not math. Please take underaged edgy role playing nonsense to >>>/pol/

I'd gladly work for Hank Scorpio

Asking a serious question to engineers and scientists. I myself am such an engineer.

Would you work for a company that themed itself? Whilst it still did said research & construction?

That is related.

This question has nothing to do with science, math or engineering. Underaged fantasy garbage belongs on >>>/pol/, not on /sci/.

You see very upset. You know you could just hide, ignore the thread, and let it sink.

Furthermore how can it be underage and be sent to /pol/? Quit being edgy.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt by assuming he's underaged. If he's an adult and his mental process are still on the level of a 7 year old, that would be very very sad.

How is that sad? So are all comic and movie fans sad? Cosplayers sad? Fans in general sad?

Do you think the 501st as a charity organization is immature?

What is wrong with wanting to have a business themed after a particular thing?

What about hotels that theme after scifi movie sets?

What about themed restaurants?

What about the scifi themed brothel?

Those are all just as important as science and engineering to society. In their own ways.

So what is wrong with someone asking if you would work for a themed, but serious, business in this particular field?
