you could do that with a single equation, maybe two , I'm talking highschool level math here.

what a waste

inb4 op or another faggot says something like "the OP pic was a simple example just looking for cool examples of math applied to video games." see, the problem here is that you posting this picture demonstrates that you don't actually know shit about math, you're just a video game nerd who thinks he likes math and wants to validate his fruitless hobby. no better than people who like the shit-tier science pages on facebook. learn true math/science and you will truly be amazed

epic OP i'll post this on my facebook XD

Acceleration is constant. It would be 9.8 m/s^2 down. Think harder

>> No.5727292

>>5727287

Or, in other words, negative.

>> No.5727324

>>5727292
Acceleration is a vector. Imo, down is actually more descriptive and is closer to actually describing a vector. The chosen axes are arbitrary.

And "negative something" != -9.8 m/s^2. "Negative" does not come close to completely describing it. For all I knew, that person may have thought acceleration was time dependent.

And here I am thinking about light shafts and how rasterizing works. Fuck we could do 2D collision detection with triangles.

more like angry nerds, holy shit 10/10 I am rustled as fuck, good job OP
