I've been doing some rudimentary research out of curiosity, but...

Is it true current mainstream fuel sources are estimated to be depleted within half a century? Things like oil, coal, and the like? This is accounting for the fact if current demand continues to grow with population increases.

And looking at some other figures and graphics, other materials range anywhere from 15 years to another 60 years of production. Is this all true? How is the Earth going to sustain the lifestyle humans have now if resources are going to run out within the century?

Fusion, wind, geothermal, water, sun, a little bit of everything.

all reliant on those elements.

the only solution will be to cut back dramatically. expect those scare materials to be targets of intensive recycling campaigns, and perhaps banned for use for everything but scientific experimentation

either way, get ready for the death of the disposable lifestyle

we all gun die

The population will not change ways until stressed too, its a very self destructive lifestyle but there isn't much you can do about. Doesn't help most of the people spouting "GO GREEN" come off as crazy hippies. Although I find it pretty amusing since even the average working class man knows its coming

The most likely solution is >>5706501 will just grow more

Its completely doable with the way technology is advancing in those fields, but the average lifestyle will change dramatically
