I'm in informatics and I don't believe in "da singularity". either it already happened, or it never will. there is no incentive to research, produce or sustain "humanlike artificial intelligence," and as such the very premise of "muh singularity" will never be achieved. and even if some lunatic were to support it, its growth would still be limited by the laws of physics, on the cutting edge of which we already tread.
