/sci/, it's finally spring break and I finally have some quiet time to teach myself for once.
I had planned on reading a textbook on differential equations, another on topology, and finally, master pre-20th century physics

Unfortunately, I've lost all my motivation. All I've done so far was read El Aleph by Borges which deals with the ideas of infinity. Pretty good read, check it out if you're into that sort of stuff.

Anyway, how do I shift my attention back to the concreteness of mathematics? Any tips or motivation would be helpful. Otherwise I'll just be stuck reading more Borges.
