Anyone know anything about the Pyramids?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgZRKxd5dEY

Saw this the other day from a link on /sci/, a couple of things struck me as mind blowing. The cap on one of the pyramids was exactly 1 metre high (5000 yrs ago) and the difference between circumferences outside and inside the square of the base was an exact reduction of the speed of light. Also there's a repetition of the Pi and the Golden Ration in the dimensions of the Pyramid and the its chambers and tunnels.

Is this just a coincidence brought about by needing to find harmonious architecture or does it have to be actively pursued at moderate or great trouble and hassle?

Awsome vid btw

Also it was perfectly aligned North to South WITHOUT the existence or knowledge of a compass, how they do that? Really if you watch the documentary there are some astonishing revelations, I especially like the idea that some civilisation was trying to communicate with us through TIME but then I have a hard on for 'time'.

so was it aligned N-S wrt the north star, magnetic north, or some other kind of north?

how close to perfectly aligned could it really be?

more than likely there's some unstated uncertainty in measurements

>Also it was perfectly aligned North to South WITHOUT the existence or knowledge of a compass, how they do that?
First, we know very little about what knowledge they had. In fact, just because we've never found a compass doesn't mean they didn't have any way to find the magnetic north. Just that we don't know how they did it. The ancients weren't stupid, they had just as much brains as we do, so they probably used it to solve the engineering problems to build these structures. It was a very long time ago so there's very little left for us to study to find out exactly how everything was done but until you find very strong evidence that they were helped by ETs or whatever, it's more reasonable to assume that they were able to overcome the difficulties of such an enterprise by themselves.

Second... about that north/south shit... isn't the magnetic north always kind of moving? Can there really be such a thing as being "perfectly" aligned with it? Or is it just some gross overexaggeration to impress the morons who watch these things?

1. Hard as it may be to believe the Egyptians DID have an understanding of basic geometric concepts like the Golden Ratio and the like.

2. The speed of light thing is just a coincidence - it only works if you measure the speed of light in like Mm/s and even then it's only accurate to like 4 digits. It's more likely that the Egyptians were trying to make the ratio between the inscribed and circumscribed radii 300, not 299-whatever... especially given the other nice neat ratios you get with the inner chambers when you convert the measurements into royal cubits.

The author of this video answered many questions through 3 different interviews. One of them is even 7 hours long... Basically, this movie is just an introduction and the facts only represent a tiny part compared to what is going to be shown in the next movies.
This series of upcoming films is the result of 42 years of work.

People assume aliens because of the gaps in our knowledge. You would require a college level course to understand fully how the assumptions are wrong.

Nobody takes Egyptology courses for the fun of it.

A college-level understanding is unnecessary.

You don't need to study archaeology for 4 years to understand that humans were capable of basic geometry, architecture, and engineering a few thousand years ago.

The revelation of the Pyramids is a documentary made by a french team, and it is its french version that really reached the public as of today. So the only review that I can offer you has been made by a french mathematician on his personal blog.

If that can help you feel better... Translating the page with Google Chrome or a similar tool should be enough, only the numbers matter.
