What is your opinion on this book /sci/ ?

Is it worth 20 bucks or is it a piece of transhumanist crap?

I was afraid of this.

The thing is, I'm pretty interested in AI and all that and about a year ago I thought up something about how AI could possibly work. Now, I put it in the back of my mind since I'm no Computer Scientist yet, and thought "well, I'll just study up first then rethink this later when I have some fucking knowledge on the subject"

Then now, one year later, he puts out this book and from what I've read, it's exactly that idea I had one year ago.

But then I saw it was him and now I'm doubting
