Hey /sci/, I'm about to dive into my first reading of Hodel, Escher, Bach. Any suggestions? Tips for reading it or theories I should read up on beforehand? Also, feel free to discuss the work in general

It's hard to read al of it because it's long. Also you will bore everyone by talking about it all the time.

You don't need to read anything beforehand but listening to some fugues n shit would be a big help.

Really it isn't particularly hard to get if you just take your time with, after all it is popsci.
