Hey guys. First time on this board, hope I'm doing it right.

I just talked with my father about the future (i.e. genetic progress, human evolution).

And I was wondering : am I the only one here who thinks that autism could be an upgrade of mankind ?

High IQ,unable to communicate (maybe due to social isolation caused by the life we live nowadays ?), larger cerebral structures, more neurones, an incredible memory...

What do you think guys ?

This. I was diagnosed with ADHD. Fucking didn't have shit. I was just a brat of a child because I wasn't getting attention from my mom.
She was a writer so it was impossible to get anywhere near her without being told to fuck off and go play outside alone.
So I got a nice education about english but I also got sent to loads of psychologists because I wouldn't talk and being heavily medicated once I was old enough.
Parents really do need to just beat their kids more. They will grow up less angry then being told you have some bull mental handicap then someone tries to teach you to use this handicap to gain some advantage in life.

Why didn't my mom beat me :'( I just wanted to be loved!

4chan as a whole has no idea what autism means. Shitposters are throwing around the term as an insult for everyone who has a different opinion. Even when trying to justify their "diagnosis" of other posters they display nothing but ignorance of basic psychopathology. Being pedantic doesn't make you an autist. Being arrogant doesn't make you an autist. A better descriptive term for most of the behaviour expressed on 4chan would be narcissism but that word is already too long and too complicated for the majority of dimwitted fools who are populating this forum.
