To make things subjective.

What if i told you there's no point of our existence?

its a zero-dimensional construct selecting out one location of an uncountably infinite number.

>zero-dimensional

The only zero-dimensional space is the trivial vector space {0}

>> No.5542506

i didn't say it was a space though. Its not a space.

How do you define dimension?

To be a small little peice that helps the human race positively and prosperously into the future.

Some day the human race could reach the pinnicle of life through science and technology, and the little work that my heart allows my body and brain to manifest helps it in a little way in the 70 years i am alive.

We could be something great, and I want my children and ancestors be prosperous in the future.

i don't, why?

>>5542542
What is the point if you'll never be able to experience such a thing regardless? You'll be dead, and at that point it will not matter to you if the human race excels or is annihilated. Frankly I think we're better off with hedonism.

Each person's point of existence is to improve each other person's ability to strive towards their point of existence.

what kind of art?

Scientifically validated answer:
The reason we exist is because of processes that led to our evolution. Imagine a game about evolution; life starts off as simple strands of material that form bonds; some bonds become self replicating; that replicating strand keeps replicating until it forms something large; and from there, it just survives to reproduce until the sun above their infinitesimal lives burns out and they all die.

Philosophical answer:
Of course, we've deduced the science behind it from physical evidence and logical reasoning, but this would be to assume that we can know something about the universe.
Even if we know a physical property of existence, it doesn't give us complete authority to decide on something in the grander scale.
So the answer is that there are no answers, because it's an unanswerable question. This is something I should only share with /x/, but I've walked into many "coincidences", some being extremely unlikely, as if existence itself was fabricated for one moment in my own desire; and even though there is enough physical evidence for me to believe in something contrary to what we know about the universe, I still can't risk it, because my whole life has been about living in magic and dreams, and I no longer want to live in the clouds; my philosophy is to disregard signs, to look towards scientific reasoning, but disregard scientific truths and acquire more knowledge that we know less than what we knew in the first place.

I believe there is a higher point in my existence, just as I believe in signs presented to me; however, I'm not going to risk my life on signs and dreams; I'm going to follow life with reasoning and rationality, but also subjecting myself to any scientific truth about the universe, because I know that we can't know those answers.
Just live.

I know what you mean. But, really, statistics shows crazy shit should happen sometimes, that's how i explain it away

i do not know the point of our existence, but its area, surely.

It's not so much a point as a line.
