A few years back I read an article about portable toilet companies filtering the contents of their tanks and then selling the resultant proteins to pharmaceutical companies for huge profits.

I haven't been able to find any other information about this practice, so maybe it's not true. It sounds feasible, though, doesn't it? Has anyone here heard of such a thing?
