Question for you /sci/, yes, it's homework, sorry...

So, when your body temperature is really high, enzymes in the hypothalamus become denatured and the structure works less efficiently. Since the hypothalamus controls temperature regulation, your core temperature rises exponentially due to positive feedback. This is called heat stroke.

When your body temperature is really low, the hypothalamus is effected similarly and core temperature drops. Is there a name (other than hypothermia) to describe this condition?
