Greetings, /sci/. Looking for some good books on neurochemistry and/or genetics. These aren't really my area of expertise in any way whatsoever (physics major), but I've wanted to know about these subjects (even on a general level) for quite some time.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

it's the seed head of a kind of cattail or bullrush. The seeds are tiny but surrounded by really compacted fluff. normally they're let go only a few at a time.
