Well last i checked (a year ago)
TeleComs was around 110k,
and the branch i'm interested in (Aero Space)
was around 140k or something like that.

Mechanical. You can use what you learn in that to apply it to nearly all other branches. So, we're the most generalized, but perhaps thats not always a great thing.

Genetic Engineering can rake in loads of money. Google the Cre/Lox recombinase system, "Brainbow," or FLP/FRT recombinase system which are commonly used in biolabs today. I'd say they've done well.

So just from an extremely brief read of the first few sentences on wiki. I'd guess this is targeted at cancer, and cancerous like diseases?

Which makes me think, Mustard gas, but not as violent, and with a more specific purpose.

I doubt it could be used as a cancer treatment. Mostly its used in making transgenic mice/flies for research purposes. Brainbow, for example, uses the system to allow for randomly generated colors in neurons. Cre is an enzyme that recombines DNA in specific spots (lox sites) when expressed. Expression can be driven by a certain promoter that, for example, only acts in the presence of a certain drug. It randomly recombines a bunch of these color genes so you get a random color code. The whole system was designed by some genetic engineers. Here's a pic for viewing pleasure:

This is relevant to my interests.
I'm thinking I'm either going to do electrical or nuclear. Has anybody here gone through nuclear engineering? How was it?
