It's worth doing if you like it and you can make a living. Look at movie stars...communications and theater degrees. Tiger Woods...master's in econ. pop starts...music degrees. it doesn't matter all that much. what matters is what you are talented at and how you can exploit your talent.

In all seriousness, if you want an in demand degree which also gives you access to women, chemical eng. is usually 55-60% female (while other eng. disciplines are usually 50-70% guys)

Notice that almost all of them went to ivy league and other top tier schools like UChicago and Johns Hopkins.

You can major in anything if you're coming out of universities like that. But majoring in english literature at somewhere like a directional state school will send you straight to the poor house.

I don't where you go to uni, but the international ratio in Engineering is 10:1 men:woman and Chemical Engineering usually has the least amount of woman (except maybe in the first year before most drop out).

If you are in doubt, do Mechanical Engineering.

It's just enough science and math that will keep you interested and it makes a shit ton of money. Very few girls though. However, engineers end up hooking up with the slutty hot dumb blondes once they find themselves with a meaningless degree trying to feed themselves in the real world.

In the US there are only three place that truly hot women congregate, LA, NYC, Miami. Honestly the only jobs with hot women are in the entertainment industry or related stuff.

Go to NYU/Columbia and major in econ and then try to get in at one of the talent agencies ICM/CAA/WME. If you prefer LA go to USC/UCLA and work at the agencies in Century City.
