Hello /sci/

So next year I am going to university, and I have some doubts about my choice.

At my university you will have the oppurtunity to follow a double Bachelor, effectively giving you two bachelor diplomas.

I've got my first choice straight (Physics)
But I am wondering about my second choice
I can choose from;
Computer Sciences
Astrophysics
Mathematics

Computer sciences won't be chosen, without a doubt.

I am however doubting between the sets
Physics and Astrophysics
or
Physics and Mathematics

I love both subjects.
Astrophysics, however, is somewhat less theoretical than mathematics, which I do not neccessarily appreciate.
I love the abstractness of mathematics, but I've never been that good at it, having to work in highschool already to get a 7 or 8.

I really like theoretical physics (which will probably become my master).

So /sci/, what do with my future?

(pic somewhat related, it kind of reflects my opinion about mathematics)

immediately I would say math

Word. Much more fun. More abstract. More challenging. And better job prospects if you really care about that shit. No doubt at all.

If you're sure you're smart/dedicated enough to try to stick out theory go with math

If you want to be useful in any research capacity go with CS

But would maths also support a master of theoretical physics more than astrophysics would do?

I have the same problem! I have got a lot of doubts, and I love both the subjects, too. But I think that Physics is "better" than Maths. I LOVE maths, maybe more than physics, but it's too much abstract, instead with Physics you have got a contact with the reality. And also, there are a lot of practically applications and experiments. But is a too much subjective question, you have to "research" the answer in your mind! This is my humble opinion!

I'm doing a double bascherlor program myself, Physics and Mathematics, and it's pretty doable; consider it.
Even if it means having to work to get a decent grade. In math this is not bad, to learn math you have to do work. If you can do that and understand it decently you can easily get your BSc.

Computer science will go great with physics and give you more value in the real world workplace. I majored in electrical and double minored in French/math; best thing I ever did.
