why don't you get along with lit /sci/entists?

>> No.5314795

We don't? No, i think you are confusing /lit/ with /x/.

>> No.5314797

>>5314795
/x/ is filled with retarded children

the way I see it is this: both science and philosophy are ultimately worthless

you can build the advanced civilization beyond our comprehension and still never discover the meaning of life (if there is one)

>> No.5314798

Because we don't even get along amongst ourselves.

>> No.5314799

>>5314797

Science doesn't care about finding a meaning for life.

Learn to science.

>> No.5314803

The meaning of our lives is the same as meaning of the first bacterias that evolved. Which is to stay alive and breed. We just imagine it being something profound.

>> No.5314805

>>5314803

That is not a meaning. That is a mechanism.

Everything you said after "children" was phenomenally stupid. Maybe that's why we don't get along.

>> No.5314867

Because their shitposting is about stuff we don't know or consider high priority to know, and vice versa. Since literature is time-consuming, it is rarely a subject of great attention to us, so at best we would bother to talk about a small handful of exceptional works. And expecting /lit/ to talk about high quality literature is like expecting /sci/ to talk about intriguing science.

At least here on /sci/ I can show off my smug superiority.
