Hey, my Biology teacher is allowing the whole class to re-answer a few questions that a lot of people got incorrect on our Bio mid-term. She wants the answers to be really detailed. Could you guys help me answer these?

The first question is... "In cases of severe iron deficiency, cellular respiration cannot proceed normally. Disregarding problems related to hemoglobin or red blood cells which require iron provide another reason why a deficiency in iron will make a person feel as if they do not have energy to complete daily tasks. Or in other words, how is iron important to generate ATP?

The other question was, " Why are the bonds in ATP called or considered "high energy"?

Please help me out guys, i am struggling in this class and know there are intelligent people that visit this page. Thanks

Not able to re-do it, just 2 questions for an extra 5 points because a lot of students did not get good grades. I go to a Liberal Arts University
