You ever notice that most of the "SCIENCE!!!!! LOL" idiots on facebook are either

a) high school students, or
b) college students in a non-scientific major like Womens' Studies, or
c) the guy who writes xkcd?

Why is that?

>> No.5193717

d) reddit users

It's because they're insufferable idiots.

>> No.5193722

Speaking of the guy who writes xkcd, he is clearly a feminist and also a failed physicist. The two are probably connected, but it doesn't make me hate him any less.

Answer: people who do actual science have better things to do than post on Facebook

I actually enjoy reading most of my colleagues on facebook. Scientists certainly post there, but in a social retard sort of way.

Because only underage fagots and their moms go on facebook for anything other than to prove that they are not sociopaths to potential employers.

He did an internship at NASA. He writes comics now because he can't get a real job. Writing comics, lol.

I work for Oracle earning six figures.

well, he does, and he makes money from it.
>says nothing of the actual quality of his work
millions of people like it, and that's kind of the point of comics. So he's successful on all fronts.
>grad school

Randall (xkcd guy) is a pretty smart guy. I don't know him, maybe he's a douche, but he's smart. Probably not as smart as the guy from abstrute goose though. Even though these are different intelligences. Randall is more practical, Abstrute goose more abstract.

>> No.5194575

a) correct
b) correct
c) I actually agree with >>5194553

I can understand that people find him unfunny, I can understand that people find him a douche, but he doesn't seem to be dumb.
