/sci/ what is your absolute biggest ambitions in life?

Mine is to recreate eugene podkletnov's experiment on rotating superconductors and if they are proven to be correct I would like to learn everything about them.

there are only a few fundamental discoveries left that mankind missed when the tree of science started branching, any of the leaves will be found eventually coming better technology. whether you find one now or not, someone will find the same thing later provided it's valid. you are not an integral part of anything. you might be able to accelerate it at best, but not be a keystone in the process. nobody is nobody ever will be, and nobody ever was.

plato, aristoteles, archimedes, copernicus provided the fundament of science, and while quantum mechanics may be our current understanding of the fundamental idea behind nature, it is not fundamental in terms of science. enlightened? you may now argue semantics and appeal to authority.

Invent an artificial intelligence which can answer questions (like Watson of Jeopardy fame) but requiring less powerful computers and able to synthesise and infer things (hopefully I can get it to do math and logic). Basically I want to create something almost omniscient. Obviously that'll never happen.

A more realistic goal: Making a contribution to AI or some related field.

My utmost ''everything went better than expected'' dream is to help design and be a passenger on the maiden flight of Earth's first FTL starship.

sadly this dream requires many many MANY technological advancements, political changes and much less religious people in the world

my more realistic dreams are:
To create a fundamental law/discovery in physics upon which others base their work on. (this can also refer to simply discovering/solving something major, such as post-event horizon space in a black hole, which I am currently working on) sadly I have reached my mathematical ability ceiling when it comes to what I have worked on the theory so far. I need to complete a phd to be able to continue.

second, Iwould like to work on SOMETHING that helps put a man into space.

Quanifiy space (not outer space that is, more like, "why isn't everything at a single point?", "why are there different points?")
