Jacobi elliptic functions

say wat for sn
say wat for cn
say wat for dn

get on my level OP

>cin
>sine

how are those different? I thought it was just pronounced one way

also
>kos
>tan
who the hell says that?

>> No.5172741

It's called a generalized regularized confluent hypergeometric limit function, but you just say "F of z"

who doesn't say tan?

I bet you guys pronounce pi as "pie" and "phi" as "phee" too.

>> No.5172748

I say "koss ex" in my head when I'm writing cosx, but I always say "sine ex" when I write sinx. It varies for tangent. I always say secant, cosecant, and cotangent though.

He's saying retarded high school students say sine, cosine, and tangent by their bastardized abbreviations. IE sin, cos, and tan. F of z is easier to say, but what OP is talking about is the lack of understanding on students' part to such a degree that they don't even know how to properly say sine, cosine, and tangent.
