Okay, this is an odd request, but do bear with me.

I can't remember an adjective commonly used to describe mathematics when things get a bit complex, i.e. imaginary numbers. The word itself escapes me and so does its precise meaning. Here are some scraps of a definition that I could manage to salvage from my memory:

It's meaning is or is close to "difficult to imagine/visualise/fathom due to unfamiliar concepts". It's an adjective.

I am trying to get to sleep and I can't, because this fucking word keeps bugging me. HALP!

It's true though. The Nazis had this idea of abstract Jewish math and normal German math. They took their idea of purity so far that they applied to math.
