I'm going to be taking organic chemistry this year. Any tips for an A+?

Learn the mechanisms of reactions, and not just the reactions, it'll take slightly longer, but make more sense.

Don't think you can learn ochem by memorization. You have to understand everything, but once you do you'll find the subject comes together very nicely.

Organic chemistry is easy to get an A in anyway.
Just memorize the general formula of alchohol, ketones, aldehydes, esters, alkane/ene/ynes, reactions (e.g carboxylic acid+alcohol with H2O catalyst-->ester) and how to name things and you'll be fine.
