i have a question about homework in my physics class
so we just got to two dimensional problems
we were using vector triangles on the day this problem was assigned, not sure how to go about doing it because i don't think enough information was given for me to do it

>a sharpshooter fires a .22 caliber rifle horizontally at a target 75m away.how far does the bullet drop by the time it reaches the target?

Don't I need muzzle velocity or time until bullet hits to do this problem. We were using law of sin/cos/tan on that day too.

Yeah, you need some kind of information to determine the time between firing and impact.

dont gun bullets go almost speed of litgh?

if so you have to use quantom relativity, and the law of sine i think.

i'm in grade school so it's been a while.

Analyze vertical and horizontal motion separately
Horizontal to get the time
Vertical to see how far it drops

No, you don't need trig functions here.
