A book I needed wasn't available for torrent, so I had to buy it. I want to create an electronic copy and make a torrent of it for everyone else.

What would be a good way to convert a book to an electronic format?

i was thinking about doing this too, i recently bought a 30 dollar scanner/printer from walmart made by canon, the thing prints loud as fuck but i can't wait to scan a whole textbook and upload it onto the internet because fuck textbook companies

If you're lucky, you can use the one from school. Those things are a bit better than the 30$ ones we have at home.

Protip; scan 2 pages in A3 format, download Acrobat Pro X, crop the pages, run OCR.
