sociology, psychology, hypnosis, sociopaths and psychopaths, body language.

Who uses their knowledge to read people, control social situations, portray yourselves in a certain way or manipulate people?

in a world where men can no longer openly physically challenge and beat down an adversary using their brute physical strength as laws and policing is more effective and prominent, i believe a subtle battle of the wits using knowledge of sociology and psychology will take its place

Where the fuck do you live?

>> No.5039542

the answer to op's question is everybody ever. it's a natural part of human interaction. some people suck at it but that's what we're always trying to do.

I don't live anywhere out of the ordinary, it is natural instinct to want to protect your territory and loved ones or even court a female through physical domination, do you not feel this inside of you at times?

Sometimes I don't talk about things because I think they'll lead us to a conversation I don't want to talk about, and I'm constantly checking for this.

if i know i will be having a sensitive conversation with someone i think out the many possible outcomes of the conversation so i can reply and manipulate it to the result i want

It isn't an intentional thing. Sometimes someone will say something or make some subtle (but commonly understood) motion and I'll recognize it as part of my studies, but that's it.

Other than that, my studies have certainly made me more cautious about making generalizations and predictions, as well as citing statistics in casual conversation.

You should be careful about this line of thinking. Because of hindsight bias, it's easy to believe that your education has allowed you to manipulate or understand people, even if in reality you just used common unconscious communication and intuitive conversational cues to gain that understanding or control.

I've seen you posting a lot. Always with the same pictures and the same uneducated comments. You should stop avatarfagging.
