No matter what you will never be smart as Tony Stark.

Really?

Because Tony Stark tried to create a new element with a laser beam. I'd never be that fucking retarded.

No matter what, he'll always be a fictional person. At least I exist.

debatable. I'd like to see some spectroscopy and mass/density measurements on this element.

>takes issue with a possible logical fallacy

Yeah he has a fusion reactor that uses "radiation" to "fuse" atoms together, just like welding. He also has a computer that downloads RAM off the internet, for maximum processing speed. Additionally, he uses this computer to hack into the pentagon by furiously typing on a keyboard.

My point is that Tony Stark is made to seem like a genius, but because of how stupid the writers of the movie were, they made him seem like an idiot to anyone who knows even a tiny amount of nuclear chemistry and physics.

I'm all for suspension of disbelief, but using current technology to do things that are clearly impossible is really hard to overlook. An example of this done right is Doctor Who. The stuff the doctor does is quite literally impossible today. However, he has "alien technology" from "advanced civilizations" which apparently overcome these limitation. Plausible, even if it gets a little idiotic.

TL;DR: Tony Stark is a movie scientist. He has no idea what he's doing and in real life would be a fucking idiot. I am smarter than him.
