Hey /sci/.
I want to learn Chemistry a little better. I don't know much about it, so nothing complicated.
Please can you help me? I want to learn things like basics and intermediate stuff like chemical equations and compounds, etc.
Thanks!

"Chemical Composition of Everyday Products"

Perfect for the layman. If you want more, just get a introductory textbook.

Get a good undergraduate general chemistry book. Chemical Principles by Zumdahl or Chemistry by Housecroft are okay imo. If you don't know anything yet just start at chapter 2 of Zumdahl or chapter 1 of Housecroft. Read through the book and please for the love of god do some exercises even though they are horrible.

The zumdahl books are good.

The thing you want to pay most attention to is the chapter about the structure of atoms. All of chemistry is derived from the atomic model. If you keep in mind what atoms have what electrons in what orbitals, and note pauli's / hund's rules, you can figure out 90% of the problems that don't involve stoichiometry.
