for the first article
looks like stuff we know already, he wants to clean up the site a little more thoroughly and a little faster in order to encourage people to come back to their homes, since the japanese media keeps thinking up new radiation scares
>is there radioactive material in your tap water!? is your BABY drinking it? more at 11

the claim that they didn't know the initial detonations were hydrogen explosions is dubious at best. they would have known that almost immediately. if they didn't? uh, these guys were trained right? I have a bad feeling that his constant interviews are making him recount the tale in a more dramatized fashion.

as for the second one, that makes sense. the area around fukushima got decently dosed, but only for a week or so before it dropped back down to background levels. I'm not surprised.
seems to have jumped from eating "contaminated food", which they don't really specify what that would be. also the "double mutation rate" is misleading, double of what? normal mutation rates? normal rates are very low. 2 times a small number is a small number.
they also didn't try to measure any degree of bio-accumulation of things like cesium, which is an important thing to know if you're going to imply that all of japan is contaminated or something

and of course, the comments
>Japan is and will be always ruled by mafia style -politics The end will be the abyss of this country -Karma of Nagking will hount Japan forever!
