Hi /sci/,
I am studying Informational science and want to start taking it seriously and wonder if I should learn math. I want to do research in this field when older and I sure could use some mathematical knowledge but I guess I could as well do ok without it. So is it worth learning and if where should I start? Also I cheated my way through high school math so I dont know much.

Learn algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, assuming you already know arithmetic.

Then move onto babby math by learning the Calculus.

Math is not needed.
