Let's hear them make a testable prediction.

Those.... are not testable predictions.

>> No.4889553

We can't, paranormal and the occult are completely unrelated to science, so there's no way to scientifically "disprove" them.

They're also completely unrelated to reality, which is why they are untestable and unscientific.

The alternate history is a cool fiction, the beliefs in powers is a non-harm belief, the sacred geometry is not based on phi and is therefore less than awesome, the overall harmless nature of a life devoted to adapting the mind to experiences is nothing that needs to be shattered for the sake of shattering. I myself meditate for calm and clarity and thought process, but I know there's nothing super natural going on.
Let the sleeping dog lie, enjoy the colorful artwork, and have fun listening to the cool stories.

I wouldn't say reality, more like scientific reality. That is the scientific perspective on nature is incompatible with theirs.

If it's not scientific, why is it called spirit science? Doesn't that mean it's science in relation to spirituality?

Noooope. It is spirituality with elements of popular science thrown in. People have been doing it for decades. It's called "pseudoscience." And belongs on >>/x/
